| The Rydan Dispense System |
The Rydan Dispense system is the worlds most versatile dispensing system. This system uses the Rydan Touch Tag. The Touch Tag is extremly robust and secure. |
Rydan Dispense systems are stand alone. That is they require no connection to operate. Typical systems will hold over 3 billion transactions without communicating. |
Dispense values and charges are fully configurable and are set remotely. Black lists, White lists and Remote TopUp lists are also set remotely and all settings and lists are fully automatic. Once changed, they are sent to all dispense systems automaticully. |
Accounts may be Charge (post paid) or Prepaid. The Rydan PrePaid Touch Tag holds the remaining value at all times. This stops users from defrauding the system during updates. |
All Rydan Touch Tags and systems are fully encripted with Customer seed sets and cannot be used on any system without that seed set. All systems can be priced at different values and costs. Customers may have multipule systems within their own system. |
Communications between Dispense systems and the master database maybe with either a Bluetooth system or a M2M system. The Bluetooth system is used for customers that require attendance to equipment on a regular basis. This uses a NetBook Computer to automaticully download from the Dispense System. When this NetBook is returned to the office, it automaticully uploads the data to the database. The M2M (Accross the Air) system uses a 3G/NextG modem to send the data to Rydan Data Transfer software which lays the data into the database. |
| The Rydan Office System | |
The Rydan Dispense System may use either Microsoft Access Databases (MDAC) or Microsoft SQL Server databases. Other database types are available on request. |
The Front Office Encoder system is where all interfaces reside. This system issues tags, records customer details, tops up PrePaid Tags, displays customer details and transaction history. This system runs on any WIN32 system (XP, 2000, 7). It requires a PC, Rydan Dispense Software and a Rydan Encoder Box. It also requires access to the database. |
When running a BlueTooth system, a NetBook is used to receive data from the remote system. When connected to the Office LAN, it will upload data to the database. |
When running a M2M system, the Rydan Data Transfer program is installed on a PC or server in the customers system. This program then receives data from the external system via the internet and loads the data into the database. |
Microsoft Access systems should only be run locally. Microsoft SQL Server system can run across all systems. |
The BlueTooth system, the Office system, the Encoder and the databases may all be run on one NetBook. |
| Hipcliff also provide a SQL Server system for remote access if required. Hipcliff also provide full account/billing service if required. |

Some of the Rydan Touch Tag Advantages |
| Runs Both PrePaid and Charge (PostPaid) transactions | |
| The system is fully stand alone. Communications are not required for operation. | |
| PrePaid values are stored and decremented on the TouchTag, resolving all fraud issues. | |
| The Rydan system shows the customer his usage on a LCD display real time. | |
| The Rydan system shows the value used for Charge tags in real time. | |
| The Rydan system shows the value remaining for PrePaid tags in real time. | |
| There are no buttons or controls for user input. Inserting the Touch Tag turns on the system, remove the Tag to turn off the system. | |
| The Rydan System will store over 3 billion transactions. | |
| The Rydan Touch Tag is water proof to 30 meters, manufactured using polycarbonate and stainless steel and is almost indestructible. | |
